TRIO CITY KANDIDAT PLAYER OF THE SEASON
Three Manchester City players were nominated for the Premier League Player of the Year award this season. Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva were nominated along with Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool). Aguero became the second player in Premier League history to score 20 or more goals in five consecutive seasons as he scored against Burnley at Turf Moor. Sterling is enjoying a good season. He has received this year's PFA Young Player award, he has contributed 17 goals and 12 assists in 33 league appearances.
